The Cressi Cherokee Fast has an anticorodal black barrel with an integrated spear guide. The ergonomic handle is made with engineered plastic reinforced with fibreglass, and a long or short soft sternal support. The handle is completely adjustable and has two screws that allow you to install a smaller or larger handle.
The release mechanism is made of stainless steel and the sideline release is integrated into the body of the speargun.
The open muzzle has a very clever cobra design which features softer angles for the bands. This decreases the friction which increases the life span of the bands. If you choose to use dual bands they will both work equally without any interference.
The muzzle has a magnetic spear lock system – two magnets integrated into the muzzle enclosed in a watertight chamber. The magnets are essential for keeping the shaft in position and aligned with the Cherokee Fast. This feature allows you to load the speargun faster without the usual disadvantages of mechanical restraint systems.
The Cressi Cherokee Fast comes with the reel included. There is a quick release bracket to mount under the barrel. The reel itself is made of a robust and light composite material and also features a steel pin buckle.
The Cherokee Fast is supplied already assembled and ready for use. In addition, it comes with two elastic bands with nylon cord (Ø 14 mm) and a stainless steel shaft (Ø 6.5 mm).

This gun does not come rigged from the manufacturer. We can rig it for you at a small charge to cover the time it takes. We will also upgrade to high quality Rob Allen 2mm mono and crimps with a single wrap.
A muzzle bungee is not provided by the manufacturer of this gun, but we feel it’s an essential upgrade if you want to avoid stressing when rigging your gun in the water after a shot. The bungee allows you to quickly pop your shooting line on the line release ready for your next shot. Without a bungee this can be a very fiddly and annoying job – especially with gloves on.
