More about Reuben Heaton:

Reuben Heaton is a company with more than 160 years of history. Established in 1857 and now a well-known name in the angling community, they started to make angling scales in the early 1900s. Back then, these were simple spring balances – and it wasn’t until the 1920s that their dial scales appeared in the company’s catalogue, alongside many other innovative engineered products.

The first dial scales were made of hefty cast iron – this was then replaced by a lighter aluminium, and these scales were soon in common usage along the UK’s canals and river banks. By the 80s, Reuben Heaton had also developed individual anglers.

The firm continues to be based in the UK in Warwickshire but they are now known across the world for their flagship product: their superb quality analog and digital weigh scales and weighing equipment, amongst other products. Their brand has been further bolstered by their sponsorship of many sports teams and event, such as the BYCAC British Young Carpers, KAOTY UK kayak competition series, Zandermania and the British Carp Angling Championships, not to mention a number of individual anglers.
