The Aspetto Camo weight vest from Start Point is super convenient with an adjustable ‘one size fits all’ harness.

Most importantly this style of weight vest is quick release and can be buckled each side or through the D-rings in the centre making it very quick to detach in an emergency by simply pinching the toggle.

We recommend fitting around 30-40% of your weight in the vest, this is the maximum from a safety and comfort point of view, flat plates and shot lead is the most comfortable.

We also strongly recommend you fitting a bungee style toggle below the weight vest so your weight belt keeps the vest from riding up your back – see the Cressi Backweight weight vest as an example.

• The jacket comprises of 4 interior locations; 2 square compartments that fit the standard 1kg weights that we sell and 2 rectangular compartments that fit the 650g lead bar weights that we also stock.
• An external pocket on the right side contains a safety whistle.
• Two straps on the left side allowing the attachment of a mini dagger.
• A handy D ring at the back of the jacket to easily attach a bungee cord to hook onto your belt (if desired). This set-up restricts the weight jacket from moving when descending.
