The Salvimar Wild Speargun is designed for those wanting to dip their toes into spearfishing. The spear and flopper provide greater holding power and keeps the fish more intact than the using the 4 prong on the wild. As a comparison the Cressi Apache which is the common beginner gun and costs £89.99 features a plastic trigger mechanism and a spear with a screw on tip that is easy to lose and has very little holding power, it also only has a 13mm band which makes it a bit underpowered.
