How is it best to take a speargun abroad?

The best way of taking a speargun abroad that I have seen is to use something called the sports tube which is most commonly used for things like skis and fishing rods and things like that. It's an extendable tube that can go from about a metre to two metres so depending on the type of spearguns you're taking, you can adjust it to try and minimise the length to save on costs. Some people use drainpipe and just cardboard the ends up. The main thing you want to do is protect the integrity of the spears. obviously going on flights is quite demanding on equipment and if you bend your spear just slightly you're going to have great difficulty on your trip so the main thing as I said is to protect the integrity of the spears.
