Mares Viper pro DS Sling Gun – 120cm

Description

The Viper Pro from Mares has a rigid anodised aluminium barrel with upper shaft guide and lower line guide. Anodising makes the surface of the gun more durable and resistant to corrosion. Thanks to its highly technical specification, the Viper Pro DS is ideal for catching large fish. It sits at the top of the Mares Pro range.

• 2 x 16mm S-Power Speed Circular Slings with Dyneema Wishbone – the World’s strongest fibre
• 6.5mm single barb Tahitian hardy shaft
• A preformed handle which incorporates the new high-functionality anatomic grip – better fits the contours of the hand
• Hyper sensitive trigger mechanism, in reversed position
• Open Muzzle with off-axis holes
• Spiro Vertical Reel, designed by Mares for their spearguns and incorporating their patented clutch. The pin on the reel helps the line pass snugly along the outer barrel.
• Stainless steel side line release
• Stainless steel trigger
• Variable deformation reinforced loading pad

This gun does not come rigged from the manufacturer. We can rig it for you at a small charge to cover the time it takes. We will also upgrade to high quality Rob Allen 2mm mono and crimps with a single wrap.

A muzzle bungee is not provided by the manufacturer of this gun, but we feel it’s an essential upgrade if you want to avoid stressing when rigging your gun in the water after a shot. The bungee allows you to quickly pop your shooting line on the line release ready for your next shot. Without a bungee this can be a very fiddly and annoying job – especially with gloves on.
