Sigalsub Brown Rubber Reactive EVO

Description

This reactive rubber packs quite some punch, similar to Pathos Nitro this rubber has a smaller internal bore of 1.5mm versus the standard 3mm meaning your 14.5mm rubber will have the same power as your standard bore 16mm.

Sold by the cm, so if you require for example 80cm then please select a quantity of 80. We can also make up the bands for you should you wish. Simply select one of the options above after reading about them below.

When ordering, please choose one of the pre-made band options using the check boxes provided. Here is a description of each option:

1. Rob Allen dyneema wishbone – closed loop band, common setup for RA guns.
2. Looped wishbones with removable bridle – perfect if you need to undo the bridle to fix it to your speargun.
3. Metal wishbone – used to replace screw in rubbers for a sharp spear notch. Another closed loop band.
4. Screw ins – Standard or circular to replace screw in rubbers

What length rubber do I need?

If you are not sure what length you need for your speargun please feel free to get in touch. However here are the recommended stretch factors and equation to use.

14.5mm is suitable for a stretch factor of 320-350%

16mm is suitable for a stretch factor of 310-340%

17.5mm is suitable for a stretch factor of 290-320%

19mmis suitable for a stretch factor of 280-300%

Now for the equation:

Measure from the furthest notch/shark fin to the start of the muzzle hole
Multiply by 2
Divide by your stretch factor. If you would like 270%, divide by 2.7. If you would like 340%, divide by 3.4
= number of cm needed.

Remember that not all gun rubbers are made equally and the same is true for spears. Some spears work better when powered by a specific rubber and visa versa.

Also, be sure not to overpower your spear as this will lead to inaccuracies in your shots. Of course if you are unsure then please get in touch.
