The new Salvimar Metal speargun has a premium release mechanism. It has an aircraft grade aluminium stock with integrated shaft guide. With the use of black and military green logos, the ‘Metal’ is extremely attractive. But the main feature of the Metal is the handle with the new release mechanism. Thanks to M.I.M (metal injection moulding) technology, you now get extremely high precision.
A small wheel has been added to the release tooth to optimise the release system. This almost eliminates entirely the sliding between surfaces. This reduces friction and allows a lighter and superior feel on the trigger – requires less force when shooting.
The new Max Reel has an impressive design, great stiffness and with 30% glass loaded nylon. The clutch is oversized for additional resistance. The Max Reel can load up to 75 metres of 1.5mm line.

This gun does not come rigged from the manufacturer. We can rig it for you at a small charge to cover the time it takes. We will also upgrade to high quality Rob Allen 2mm mono and crimps with a single wrap.
A muzzle bungee is not provided by the manufacturer of this gun, but we feel it’s an essential upgrade if you want to avoid stressing when rigging your gun in the water after a shot. The bungee allows you to quickly pop your shooting line on the line release ready for your next shot. Without a bungee this can be a very fiddly and annoying job – especially with gloves on. The rigging option above does not include dyneema for the reel.
